PROJECT CONCEPT
The idea was to create a practical yet inviting space in the rear garden that could serve the whole family—somewhere to work out, relax, and let the kids play safely—all just steps from the main home.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project involved designing a new outbuilding in the rear garden of a residential property at 31 Stanford Way, London. The goal was to make better use of the outdoor space by adding a functional structure that blends well with the existing home.
The single-storey outbuilding features a flat roof and includes a private gym area alongside a dedicated kids’ playroom. Large sliding doors open directly to the garden, connecting the indoors with nature and allowing for plenty of natural light. This multi-use space provides comfort, convenience, and added value for family life.
