The aim of this project was to reimagine and expand a traditional family home to better suit modern living needs. By extending the rear of the property at both the ground and first-floor levels—and adding a loft conversion—the design maximizes available space while preserving the home’s original character. The goal was to create a seamless flow between the existing structure and the new additions, improving both functionality and aesthetics.

Located on Lloyd Road in Worcester Park, this project includes a thoughtfully designed full-width rear extension at the ground and first floors, alongside a complete loft conversion. The ground floor has been extended to create an open-plan layout ideal for family gatherings and everyday living. On the first floor, the rear extension provides additional bedroom space, enhancing comfort without compromising the existing structure.

The newly added loft conversion introduces a bright and airy upper level, which can serve as a master suite, home office, or guest room—offering flexibility for the homeowner’s lifestyle. Every elevation—front, rear, side, and roof—was carefully considered to ensure the new structure integrates harmoniously with the original property.
